Dominion and Mastery over the Earth

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. — Genesis 1:1-2

18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else. — Isaiah 45:18

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. According the prophet Isaiah He created the heavens and the earth to be inhabited. Genesis chapter one verse two say the earth was without form and void. The words “without form” is one Hebrew word tohu which does mean without form or to lie in waste or a desolation. In Isaiah chapter forty-five verse eighteen the prophet writes that God did not create the earth in vain. That word “vain” is the same Hebrew tohu which means that God did not create it the way it is stated in verse two of Genesis one. Having not created it that way originally God recreated it over starting with verse three. God used four elements to recreate and reconfigure the earth with into five elemental domains.

  1. Element: Fire – Elemental Domain: Light
  2. Element: Wind – Elemental Domain: Air
  3. Element: Water – Elemental Domain: Seas
  4. Element: Land – Elemental Domain: Earth
  5. Element: Celestial Lights – Elemental Domain: Time

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. — Genesis 1:3-5

8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. — Psalms 33:8-9

Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars. — Job 9:7

God exercised dominion and mastery over the elements by commands. God had commanded the sun to rise not and for the stars to seal up after He had created them. When God commanded light He was talking to the sun and it obeyed and produced light. The sun is a great mass of fire that made of hydrogen, helium and a few other elements. God separated the light from the darkness and called the light day and the darkness night. The first day of the recreation God exercised dominion and mastery over fire to create light.

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. — Genesis 1:6-8

On the second day God used the element of wind to organize the water on the earth to reconfigure to add life to it. He commanded a firmament in the midst of the waters that would divide water from water. Water that would be under the firmament and water that would be above the firmament. He named the firmament heaven. The wind became air that surrounded the earth.

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. — Genesis 1:9-13

On the third day God exercised dominion and mastery over the elements of water and land. First He commanded the waters to gather together into one place and He called the gathering of the waters into place, Seas. God then called forth the dry land to appear that was covered by the water previously. He called the dry land, earth. He then commanded vegetation life to come forth that included:

  • The earth bringing forth grass
  • The herb yielding seed after its kind
  • And the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind onto the earth

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the nighthe made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. — Genesis 1:14-19

On the fourth day God commanded for the lights in the firmament  give light to the earth. Those lights included the sun, the moon and the stars. The sun and stars are masses of fire, while the moon is a mass of rock that reflects the sun to create light in the night. The sun which is star produces light in the day, while many other stars are lights in the night along with the moon. Through these God created time which is related to signs, seasons, days and years. Time is ruled by light.

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day — Genesis 1:20-23

On the five day God commanded that the masters of sea and the air would come forth. God created the fish of the sea and fowl of the air. The fish would master the water and the fowl would master the air. After He created them He then blessed saying be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters of the seas and the fowls to fill the air.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. — Genesis 1:24-25

On the sixth day God commanded the earth to bring for three kinds of living creatures after its kind.

  • Cattle
  • Beast (Lions, etc.)
  • Creeping things (Reptiles)

Let’s recap

  • God commanded light to be which He did by releasing the mass of fire called the sun that He had ages ago commanded to rise not.
  • God used the wind to create a firmament to divide the waters under the firmament from the waters over the firmament. God also gave the firmament the name heaven.
  • God commanded the waters under the firmament to be gathered to one place and called them seas
  • God commanded the dry land that had been covered by water to appear and called the dry land, earth.
  • God commanded the vegetation life to come forth from the earth.
  • God commanded the lights in the firmament, the sun, the moon, and the stars to function to create time on the earth.
  • God commanded the waters to bring forth the fish to master the seas and fowl to master the air  to populate the seas and the earth.
  • God commanded the earth to bring forth beast, cattle, and creeping things to master the earth and to populate the earth.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. — Genesis 1:26

4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. — Psalms 8:4-8

16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. — Psalms 115:16

During the six days of the creation God spoke and then caused whatever was spoken to come to pass. Whatever God spoke to that became the source or related to what was created or made. God spoke to the sun (fire) and the light came was produced. God spoke to the waters to divide to create a firmament and it was so through wind element. He spoke to the waters to gather together to form the seas (water element) and called forth the dry land to appear named it earth (land element). After the earth appeared God spoke to it to bring forth vegetation life. To the waters (sea and firmament) to bring forth fish of the sea and fowl of the air. Then He spoke to the to bring forth every kind of animal life. God had set everything in motion by recreating life activating the five elements and creating life forms to inhabit and master those elements.

The Godhead then spoke to themselves to bring forth mankind that is male and female to be in their image and after their likeness. Mankind was created to master the sonship the image and likeness of God. Adam and Eve were made members of the family of God their offspring. Being the offspring of God Adam and Eve and their offspring would be of the Godkind. All of Mankind was to be the of the Godkind. Mankind were appointed to be custodians of the earth. As appointed custodians mankind was created to supervise the earth and act on behalf of the Godhead. Mankind was appointed to have dominion over the masters of the elements. He gave to Adam and Eve dominion over five realms of masteries.

  1. Dominion over the fish of the sea (masters of water)
  2. Dominion over the fowl of the air (masters of wind)
  3. Dominion over cattle (masters of earth)
  4. Dominion over all the earth (mastery over the works of the hand of God)
  5. Dominion over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth (reptilian masters of earth)

As sons and daughters of God, Adam and Eve were in essence gods on earth. As it is written in Psalms 82:6 “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High”. Adam and Eve were the royal family of the earth and everyone born of them were to be royalty also. Unfortunately the day came when Adam and Eve disobeyed God ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and lost the ability of immortality and become mortal. As mortals their dominion took on a different dimension. Spiritually they both died as they were separated from the spiritual life of God.

1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. — Galatians 4:1-7

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. — Romans 8:19-21
