7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. — 1 Corinthians 12:7-11
The gift of the gifts of healing is the supernatural ability to effect healings.
Examples of Gifts of Healings
22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. 24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. 25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. 26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town. — Mark 8:22-26
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. 24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them. — Matthew 4:23-24
35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. — Matthew 9:35
17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. — Luke 5:17
14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) 15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. 16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.— Acts 5:14-16
The Gifts of Healings was prevalent in the ministry of Jesus, It was also prevalent in the ministry of the apostles and the early church. The Gifts of Healing is also known as the healing anointing. Jesus was the first to ministry with a healing anointing. The healing anointing was not the only way that Jesus healed but it was the predominant way He did.
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him — Acts 10:38.
Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power to preach, teach and heal. He had the Spirit without measure (John3:34). Everywhere He went He healed the sick and cast out devils. The healing anointing comes in measures with the exception of Jesus. The Gifts of Healings and the healing anointing is generally placed in the hands by the Holy Spirit, but Jesus had it all over His body.

The healing anointing has three levels to it
- The Believers Anointing
- The Healing Anointing
- The Stronger Anointing
Believers Anointing
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. — Mark 16:15-18
Every child of God has a believer’s anointing to lay hands on the sick and it bring recover. Every child of God through the Holy Spirit is a supernatural being. Every child of God has a measure of the Spirit of God and with it comes an anointing from God. It is an anointing to produce signs it is the believer’s anointing.
21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. — 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
God will anoint every child of God. The believer’s anointing operates through faith.
The Healing Anointing
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. — James 5:14-16
1Then he called his disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. — Luke 9:1-2
7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent. 13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them. — Mark 6:7,12-13
Every believer can also operate with a healing anointing that is higher than the believer’s anointing. The believer’s and the healing anointing manifests mainly through the laying on of hands and the anointing with oil. The believer’s anointing and the healing anointing is not always instant many times the healings are gradual. Jesus said and they shall recover. Every believer cam lay hands on the sick and see them recover. They can also anoint the sick with oil in the name of Jesus.
The Stronger Anointing
The stronger anointing manifests more than just healings it also demonstrates power. There are several examples of the stronger anointing for healings in the New Testament.
Christ Jesus and the Stronger Anointing
34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. 35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; 36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole. — Matthew 14:34-36

Jesus Christ had the stronger anointing the multitude sought to touch Him for power went out of Him and healed them all. As many touched even the border of His garments were made whole. That stronger anointing was on His whole body. That stronger anointing is usually give to those called to the fivefold ministry but it is available to anyone who pays the price. Here are more biblical examples.
Stephen and the Stronger Anointing
8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people — Acts 6:8
Stephen was selected to be a part of the first set of deacons in the early church and a little after that became the first Christian martyr. He was full of faith and power which was that stronger anointing by which he did signs, wonders and miracles. Although the acts are not detailed it is safe to say that the signs and wonders that Stephen performed were related to healings. He walked in the stronger anointing.
Philip and the Stronger Anointing
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. — Acts 8:5-7
Philip was also one of the first deacon he was later called to be an evangelist (Acts 21:8). Philip also walked that stronger anointing. As he ministered in the city of Samaria the people heard and saw the miracles he did. In other words they saw and heard and saw the power he demonstrated.
Apostle Peter and the Stronger Anointing
12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. 13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. 14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) 15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. 16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one. — Acts 5:12-16
Peter the other apostles were anointed with the stronger anointing. Peter was so anointed that even his shadow healed people.
The Apostle Paul and the Stronger Anointing
11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. — Acts 19:11-12
God gave Paul special power the stronger anointing. The people took handkerchiefs and aprons from Paul’s body and brought it to the sick and the diseases and evil spirits from them.
There you have the believers anointing, the regular healing anointing and the stronger healing anointing.
