1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. — Genesis 6:1-4
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. — Ephesians 6:12
The story of the origin of demons includes both angels who were called watcher and daughters of the children of men. The Book of Enoch adds more detail to what happened between the watchers and daughters of men during the days of Noah.
Chapter 6
1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters.
2 And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men
3 and beget us children.’ And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear ye will not
4 indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’ And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations
5 not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’ Then sware they all together and bound themselves
6 by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn
7 and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal,
8 Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaq1el, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens.
Chapter
1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms
2and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they
3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed
4 all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against
5 them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and
6 fish, and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.
Chapter 8
1 And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all
2 colouring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they
3 were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, ‘Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal (taught) astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . .
The watchers who were appointed by The Most High God devised a plan to leave their heavenly estate to come to the earth to mate the women of the earth. They came down and taught the children of men secrets about the metals of the earth and the elements of God’s creation and some spiritual dark secrets that was used for much evil. As the mated with the women they bore children who where mixed with angelic genes and human genes. The wives of the fallen angelic watchers bore corrupted humanoids who were giants that took over the earth. God tolerated the evil for one hundred and twenty years.
3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. — Genesis 6:3
God said My spirit shall not strive with man his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. He said that twenty years before Noah began to build the ark which took him one hundred. The same year he finished the building the flood God sent the flood. Men had one hundred and twenty years to repent but they didn’t. When the flood came it destroyed all human and animal life outside the ark perished. The watchers were imprisoned in Hell in the part called Tartaros and the hybrid humanoids whose bodies were destroyed by the flood became disembodied spirits called demons or evil spirits. Demons are not fallen angels, but their fathers were.
4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; — 2 Peter 2:4-5
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal — Jude 1:6-7
See the angels that left their first estate and were taken captive and put in everlasting chains under darkness unto the great day of judgment. God did spare the fallen watchers or whole world He punished them all. The offspring of the watchers and daughters of men became demons and enemy of all mankind.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. — Ephesians 6:10-12
There are four classes in the kingdom of Satan
- Principalities
- Powers
- Rulers of the Darkness of the World
- Spiritual Wickedness in High Places
The first three classes are made up of demons and evil spirits. The fourth class the Spiritual Wickedness in High Places are the fallen angels who fell with Lucifer before the creation of Adam and Eve. The first class of demons are called principalities they are the lowest class. The word “principalities” is Greek word arche which means beginning. The are called arche because are the beginning rank of demons. The second class is “powers” which the Greek word exousia which means authority. The second class is the first class with any type of authority. The third and final class of demons are the Rulers of the Darkness of the World. The world “ruler” is the Greek word kosmokrator which means world ruler. The word “darkness’ is skotos which means without light. The word “world” is aion which means age or era. The highest class of demon is a world ruler of the darkness of this age. The demons operate on the earth and the fallen angels operate in the heavenlies and the atmosphere. It is the rulers of the darkness of this world is the class that possess people.
